Primary School Prospectus

We aim to share with pupils our feelings of awe and

wonder at the world, a breathless ‘wow!’ combined with

a deep-seated spirit of thankfulness at the gift of life and

its many blessings. This spirit of wonder pervades school

life, be it in the Science lab, listening to Mozart, hearing

a poem, seeing a painting from a new perspective or

observing a chick hatching. Wonder should be a large part

of a happy childhood. Primarily this spirit is celebrated

and promoted when we worship and pray in Llandaff

Cathedral and the School Chapel. Children of all faiths are

included and welcome here, though we are a Christian

community and the life and teaching of Christ lies at

the heart of our school as the inspiration, example and

wellspring of wisdom to help us.
