Aspiring Medics Evening

The first of many Aspiring to be... evenings kicked off with Aspiring Medics on Thursday. Pupils and students in Years 10-12 and their parents were invited to the event, where they heard from three doctors (two GPs and one colorectal surgeon) and four medical students, who took time out of their busy schedules to join us.

Learning about the typical day of a GP, how to apply for medicine and the different aspects of medicine as a career, it was a very valuable event and gave the audience a real insight into studying for and securing a career in medicine.
