"We are what we eat", they say. The food at the Cathedral School is provided in partnership with catering company Chartwells, and is of the very highest quality. Lunches are included for all pupils in the school fee: there is a range of healthy options available daily; two meat - based main courses, one vegetarian main, plus jacket potatoes with fillings, a well-stocked fresh salad bar and a selection of freshly made sandwiches. All the food is prepared from scratch in the kitchens by Head Chef Leon and his team. There is also a starter available daily of fresh home made soup, freshly home made yogurts, fresh fruit and a tempting hot pudding. Pupils are free to request a small or large portion.
We want the pupils to be well fed so that they can concentrate upon their work and activities, as well as learning how to eat healthily.
