Champion of Race Equality

Hannah A (Year 7) received her award for being a Champion of Race Equality this week as part of the Race Equality First 2020 Schools Poster Competition. With over 500 entries and only 12 winners, this is an amazing achievement. Hannah was presented with her named, framed award and a £50 voucher, as well as a framed award for The Cathedral School. The presentation was due to take place at The Temple of Peace with Jason Mohammad presenting, however, due to the latest COVID-19 restrictions, the venue was changed and he was sadly unable to attend. Although dissapointed by this change of events, Hannah was pleased to be given extra commendation by the judges as the message in her poster was particularly well received.
