Strictly comes to the Cathedral School

The Strictly Come Dancing glitter ball came to school last night as staff and pupils hit the dance floor to raise money for Compassion.

A House event, the dancing line up had been practising their jives and cha, cha, chas this term with the help of Darren Jones of Saturn Dance.

Year 7s Olivia W and Nathan N-M stole the show with their show-stopping jive, closely followed by James H and his partner Sophia W and Jack S and Paige J. 

The evening raised more than £650 for the charity which is committed to the spiritual, economic, social and physical development of children living in extreme poverty.

Well done to everyone who took part and for making the night such a success!
