The Jungle comes to The Lodge

This week's Amazing Authors initiative has been amazing!

Planned to inspire the pupils to create, perform and write their own texts, from poems to play scripts, all around the theme of the jungle, the week was inspired by David Walliams’ Comic Relief book ‘The Queen’s Orang-Utan’.

The week culminated with the whole department arriving at school in jungle dress-up...lions, cheetahs, parrots, birds of paradise, tigers and even a penguin!
