A Warm Welcome to Year 12

It was lovely to welcome our Year 12 students to Sixth Form this week for their Induction afternoon. After spending some time getting to grips with all the important information they needed for their first full day on Thursday, it was time for something a little more relaxed and creative. 

Rachel Rasmusen hosted a brilliant paint along party, with students creating their own Cardiff Bay landscapes. There was plenty of artistic flair along the way, with many putting their own unique twist on the original! With snacks during the break, it was also a lovely chance for everyone to chat, get to know new faces and begin settling into the Year 12 community. 

The afternoon concluded in the Sixth Form Centre with tea, coffee and cake, giving students the opportunity to meet their tutors and settle into their new surroundings. 

A great start to Sixth Form life, and we look forward to seeing our Year 12 students thrive in the year ahead.
