Year 4 were granted an audience with Queen Victoria at Cardiff Castle this week.
In a special workshop, the children had the opportunity to look at both her life and the lives of the poor during her reign. They were also given the opportunity to learn more about the Victorian period, some of the Queen’s likes and dislikes, handle objects from the past, and even learn good deportment and manners!
All of the children and staff had a wonderful time and it was a rich learning experience reinforcing the work being carried out in the classroom.
