Information Afternoon Year 7 entry 2027
Tuesday 10 November 1645-1730
Autumn has arrived in Nursery, bringing with it a wealth of exciting learning opportunities. The children have been exploring the season through a variety of creative and hands-on activities, developing key skills while having lots of fun. They have enjoyed seasonal writing tasks, sharing their ideas and building confidence in their early literacy skills.
In our creative sessions, the children carefully shaped and decorated their own clay hedgehogs, learning about autumn wildlife while developing their fine motor skills. Outdoor learning has also played an important role this term, with pupils collecting conkers, colourful leaves and other natural treasures from the changing environment around them.
These seasonal resources have been used in a range of counting, sorting and number activities, helping to bring mathematical concepts to life in a meaningful and engaging way. From comparing quantities to creating patterns and practising number recognition, the children have embraced every opportunity to learn through exploration. It has been wonderful to see their curiosity, creativity and enthusiasm flourish as they discover all that autumn has to offer.
