Celebrating Diwali

This week, Mrs Roy lead our Infant and Junior assemblies to teach us all about Hinduism and Diwali.

Mrs Roy wore a traditional Hindu sari and brought in diya lamps. Sharing the importance of Hinduism around the world, the symbolism of light and good and the tale of Rama and Sita returning home through a path of lights, helped all the pupils to learn about Hinduism in the exciting lead up to the Diwali celebrations.
