DofE at the Palace!

Earlier this week, Mrs Dinsmore was invited to Buckingham Palace Gardens for a Duke of Edinburgh's Gold Award Presentation. On this occasion, around 1000 young people met members of the royal family and had their Gold Certificates presented by various celebrities in the gardens of Buckingham Palace. Prince Edward, Princess Anne and Princess Beatrice were the Royals on duty. The certificates for Mrs Dinsmore's group were presented by former European and Commonwealth Games 400m champion Ieuan Thomas who gave an inspiring talk on how to never give up on your dreams.

Past pupils Arthur Wotton and Hana Owens were at the event and we are so proud of them receiving their awards. Congratulations!

It was a great day out and those who are persevering to DofE Gold level have this to look forward to on the completion of their awards.
