The evening included pizza, quizzes, competitions, awarding of certificates, and a presentation from our fantastic guest speaker, Anna McNuff. As a bestselling author, endurance athlete and adventurer, she delivered an inspirational speech on overcoming our comfort and stress zones, how to set our sights on our next goals, and gave some words of advice for pupils as they consider their future expeditions.

 

DofE has been a great success this year, with almost all participants passing their expeditions - one of our highest success rates! However, this is only one part of the award; pupils also have to work on their volunteering, physical and skill sections to gain their full award, certificate and badge.

 

Well done to everyone, and thank you to all the staff and parents for their support. A special thank you to Sophie R, Simran S, Rose M, Talia C and George F for presenting their experiences of DofE this year and for helping the evening run smoothly.
