Senior Open Morning
Wednesday 18 March 2026
On Wednesday, CSL hosted a heart warming Iftar event, bringing together a diverse community of students, parents, and teachers.
As the sun set, Muslim students who had fasted from dawn until dusk were joined by their non-Muslim peers and parents, all gathering to enjoy the meal together. The event was not just about food; it was about building understanding, fostering friendships, and embracing the diversity that makes CSL such a special place.
Students shared their thoughts and reflections on the significance of Ramadan and what it meant to them. The conversations were rich with insights, as the group reflected on the themes of empathy, tolerance, and mutual respect.
A special thanks to Mikaeel M, Salma A and Hannah A for organising and presenting the event. The Iftar was a beautiful reminder of how food, faith, and friendship can bring people together and a celebration of the diversity and tolerance of our school body.
