We were treated to night of toothsome delights this week, with this year’s ingredient list featuring the ever popular sea bass, Thai spices and pork tenderloin, along with the normal seasonal vegetables, a variety of fruit and the store cupboard staples.
Each team exploited the ingredients in their own exciting ways, with parsnip bakes, bruschetta, tenderloin stuffed with cherries, orange drizzle cake all featuring.
Our excellent judges, Pete Farrow and Maria Campden took ample time with each competitor to find out how they had planned and prepared their courses, and gave expert advice on how to improve. They were particularly impressed with Nell L’s Upside Down Pear Cake, which they said they could happily sell for good money in their restaurant!
Many congratulations go to Euddogwy House on securing once again the MasterChef trophy. Dyfrig came second and Teilo third.
