More than 120 pupils from Years 9-12 continued with their DofE training earlier this week in readiness for their Bronze, Silver and Gold expeditions.
The groups rotated throughout the day covering the training modules which include: tents, trangias, meal planning, first aid, medical emergencies, map reading, navigation, kit, countryside code and route planning. Training will continue every week, to ensure they are ready to navigate themselves across the Gower, Forest of Dean or the Brecon Beacons.
Meanwhile, all pupils are continuing to work on their Volunteering, Physical and Skills sections, lasting three to 12 months of the year.
