This year's House Photography competition saw an impressive standard of entries across all categories.
Our long-standing judge, Tim Dickeson, was particularly impressed not only by the technical quality of the photographs, but by how thoughtfully pupils responded to each brief. In the Dreams category, Morgan G secured first place with a striking image of a rainbow over Sycamore Gap. Henry J-J won the Flight category with a beautifully timed photograph capturing a statue, vapour trail and bird perfectly aligned against the Paris skyline. The Purple category was won by Adan A, whose creative perspective shot inside a restaurant bathed in purple light stood out for its composition. In the final category, Rage, Harry J B claimed first place with a powerful image of a broken van window, offering an unexpected and compelling viewpoint.
Congratulations go to all pupils who entered, were shortlisted, and placed in the top three of their categories. In the overall House results, Euddogwy took first place, followed by Teilo in second and Dyfrig a very close third. House points currently stand at:
