International Women's Day
06 March 2026
In the lead-up to International Women’s Day on Sunday 8th March, our pupils have taken part in a range of activities to celebrate and reflect on the achievements of women past and present:
- House assemblies centred around this year's theme, Give to Gain, and highlighted inspiring stories and themes linked to equality, empowerment and ambition.
- Older pupils visited tutor groups in Years 7–9 to lead activities designed to spark discussion and identify women who inspire them.
- The week culminated with an empowering dance session and a lunchtime stall in School House featuring displays, interactive activities, pledge cards, and International Women’s Day merchandise for pupils to take away.
These activities allowed pupils to explore the significance of the day and consider how they can contribute to a more equal and inclusive world.
