On Tuesday, we enjoyed a wonderful evening at our final Junior Soloists' Concert of the year which was a fantastic celebration of music, talent and confidence.
Pupils showcased an impressive range of musical talent on a variety of instruments, including voice, drums, classical guitar, recorder, violin, piano, cornet, flute and even a bodhran. The programme featured music from different eras and genres, highlighting the wide range of interests and abilities within our young musicians. Audience members enjoyed performances inspired by jazz, rock, soul, reggae, and classical music, alongside favourite songs from musicals, such as Annie and Oliver! There were also lyrical songs from Scotland and a lively performance on the bodhran to a number from Riverdance, which added great energy and variety to the evening.
The concert was a joyful opportunity for pupils to share the results of their hard work. The support and encouragement from family, friends and staff helped create a positive atmosphere throughout the evening.
A huge thank you to everyone who came along to support the concert and an especially big well done to all of the children who performed.
