Lunchtime Recital

Senior musicians gave a most impressive Lunchtime Recital in Llandaff Cathedral, featuring music from the 17th century through to the present day.

Audience members enjoyed some excellent piano playing, showcasing the Cathedral’s Steinway grand piano, together with several beautiful vocal items, exploiting the generous cathedral acoustic. The recital was further punctuated by instrumental solos on both classical guitar and flute. As a whole, the event had a strong sense of musical cohesion and technical quality, refreshing and uplifting all those present. Please see the full programme below:
