Old Llandavians take on 1st XI Hockey Team

This week, we welcomed back a team of Old Llandavians to play against our 1st XI hockey team at WIS, followed by food, drinks and a catch-up.Thank you to all pupils, staff and Old Llandavians who helped and played in the hockey match.

The Old Llandavian team consisted of: Jessica Hill, Annie Bourne, Jade Bolderson, Hannah Lidbury and current staff member, Miss Drain. Despite the torrential rain hitting the astro moments before warm-up, exciting hockey was played and a great time was had by all! The current pupils started off with two quick goals from Lucy H and Nell L. The second half saw the Old Llandavians return with two goals which came from last year's captain Jess, who played against her sister, Fflur. There were some superb saves from GK's Jenna T and Rhian L! Nia B scored the final and winning goal of the game for the current pupils; with the score finishing 3-2! It was also brilliant to have past pupils come along to watch and support their old class mates. 

We look forward to running this event again next year, and growing the number of Old Llandavians involved each year!
