Olympic Bronze Medallist Visit

The Cathedral School Judo Club were thrilled to welcome Olympic medallist, Karina Bryant to school yesterday.
With plenty of tips to share, Karina partnered up with many of the club members, aged 7-11, showing them her bronze medal from London 2012. This was certainly a Judo class that the 30-strong pupils won't forget in a hurry!
Karina is a British judoka. She has represented Great Britain at four successive Olympics, winning the bronze medal in the heavyweight event at the 2012 Summer Olympics in London. She was a seven-time medallist at the European Judo Championships and World Judo Championships, and has been European Champion on four occasions.
