Performance Inspiration

Following former pupil, Ben Oatley’s visit last term, the cast of Beauty and the Beast were lucky to have a visit from another OL who has gone on to achieve West End success.

Finn Torkington (OL, 2010-2019) returned to school this week to work with Senior pupils during their rehearsal, sharing valuable insights into life as an actor, speaking honestly about the challenges and rewards that his career has brought so far.

The pupils also benefited from feedback from Finn on their rehearsal, with practical advice and encouragement that was greatly appreciated by the cast.

It was wonderful to welcome Finn back to school, and our current performers were inspired to hear first-hand about the opportunities a background in drama can create and the different paths a career in the creative industries can take.
