Quizzing Success

On Tuesday evening, the Year 6 Leadership Team hosted a fantastic family fun quiz night. We were so glad to see so many faces in the event with over 70 people coming and having lots of fun. Our quiz masters Rishi, Hattie, Dylan, Gabriel and Molly posed questions that tested our guests with rounds on sport, music, Disney, general knowledge, a very special heart round and a fun CSL round about our school and teachers. Sam kept contestants on their toes, timing every question to the second! The amazing food team, Jacob, Eleri and Thomas ensured everyone was kept full with pizza, snacks and drinks. A special thank you to Costco for giving us £200 to help buy the snacks, and to Leon, our school chef from Chartwells, for cooking all the pizzas. Gabriel was busy taking all the money whilst Orla and Arya (aka Heart Man) welcomed guests and spent the evening entertaining the crowd. Finally, Molly and Ishan did a fantastic job keeping track of the scores. The raffle was a huge fund raiser, with Anya winning the top prize of a signed Glamorgan shirt. We are very proud to have raised enough money to donate a defibrillator to the Cathedral, which may one day, save someone’s life.
