Riveting Reptiles

This week Year 1 have been exploring Riveting Reptiles!
The pupils had a wonderful hands-on experience exploring some real-life reptiles (and other animals too) with a visit from Animal Zone, which aims to provide education, interaction, entertainment and to promote the welfare of exotic animals including birds, mammals, invertebrates and reptiles, in captivity.
The pupils had the opportunity to ask questions and learned lots of amazing facts, handling the animals carefully and confidently including spiders, tortoises, giant toads, lizards and snakes as well as a boa constrictor – some might say they were braver than their teachers! Thank you to Animal Zone for a wonderfully interactive session.
