Summer Infant Music Concert

Summer Infant Music Concert

It was so lovely to see what amazing talent we have in the Infants in our Summer Music Concert on Tuesday. Our musical showcase brought us solo highlights on the piano, cello, violin, drum-kit, voice and recorders. Our pBuzz group opened the concert, with a special Queen Medley, involving audience participation, led by Mr McDade, dressed in a Freddie Mercury jacket to add to the atmosphere. What fun! Our Mini Strings stopped the traffic with their energetic and fun-filled performances on violins and cellos. Our newly formed recorder group made a superb debut with their tightly performed number Joe Joe. Ending our concert, we had our Year 2 Choir who beautifully sang about Minibeasts and gave a jazzy rendition of Hey Diddle Diddle.

What a wonderful afternoon celebrating the fantastic musical talent of our youngest pupils. They gave energy, smiles, engaging performances and a perfect concert bow! Thank you to Ms Gretton for organising the concert and to our amazing peripatetic music teachers for their enthusiasm.
