Supporting Future Pathways

As our Year 11 and 12 pupils begin their study leave today, and Year 13 follow next week, we take a moment to reflect on the wider preparation that has taken place in recent weeks - not just for exams but for life beyond CSL.

Sixth Form students have taken part in a series of university preparation sessions, helping to build confidence and clarity ahead of key deadlines. This has included visits from:

  • Sarah Mullen, representing UCL, who provided invaluable information about making your application stand out from the crowd
  • Simon Lovell-Jones, representing Aberystwyth University, who gave a useful overview of the UCAS application process and insight into the new Personal Statement format
  • Katherine Pagett, representing the University of Birmingham, who inspired our Year 12s with a motivational talk on goal-setting
  • Ewan Hopkins, representing Cardiff University, who shared effective study techniques

These opportunities are a vital part of ensuring our pupils feel prepared, supported and inspired as they take their next steps. We wish Years 11, 12 and 13 the very best as they sit their GCSE, AS and A-level exams over the coming weeks.
