The new home of the Infants opens

The opening of the Lodge this week is a significant moment in the school's history, one which the Infant staff in particular, are very proud to be a part of.

The children have settled into their new home superbly, enjoying their new environment, and particularly the new resources available to support their learning. The high tech ICT kit in the classrooms has proved to be a huge hit amongst the children and teachers, along with the outdoor learning for Reception children, visits to the ‘Library in the attic' and the sense of being in a very exciting, historic building.

Mrs Amanda Drew joins us as receptionist and we also welcome Mr Ryan Morgan to our team, who is the new Coach in Residence.

The formal opening is planned for Thursday 19^th September, and will be by Clara Vuillamy, daughter of author Shirley Hughes and official illustrator for Hay Fever 2013, The Children's Hay Festival.
