Woodard Young Musician of the Year Success

Congratulations to three of our musicians who performed at the Woodard Young Musician of the Year competition at St John's Smith Square in London on Saturday.

With a total of 31 performances in two categories - Junior and Senior - two runners up and one winner were awarded in each category. Ours was the best performance from any Woodard school on the day. No other school won two awards.

The Cathedral School was represented by Daniel W, Nadia VdG and Katherine S in the Junior category and was the only school to win two of the six available prizes, with two runner up places being awarded to Daniel and Nadia.

Well done to all three pupils for their fantastic performances and to Mr Aspden.
