More than £2500 raised for Christian Aid

This week, the CSL community came together to support Christian Aid and its mission to make a difference in Nairobi, Kenya. Assemblies focused on their theme, Seven Days to Make a Difference, where our pupils learned about the incredible work Christian Aid is undertaking, helping local families grow crops sustainably in previously unused spaces. This enables families to produce enough to eat and even sell surplus at the local market.

Additionally, our Year 6 volunteers got creative by selling ice lollies at the end of each school day, a fun and “cool” way to raise additional donations.

The week culminated in our Whole School Charity Breakfast today, which was heartwarming to see so many pupils, parents, family members, and staff enjoying together. Thank you to Lodestone House for supporting the breakfast and to the catering team who did such a fantastic job this morning.

A total of £2664.68 has been raised - a huge thank you to everyone who joined in during this week of generosity and community spirit.
