Information Afternoon Year 7 entry 2027
Tuesday 10 November 1645-1730
This week, as they begin to search for their dream course or life option after sixth form, our Year 12 students were able to start their university and future careers research by getting a feel for the opportunities available with an exciting trip to a mega University Exhibition in Bristol.
The event is part of our unique UP programme and our students were able to ask questions and network, meet other students, and gather information that will help them to decide what the best course and location will be for them in the future - prior to beginning the application process and drafting their personal statements in the Lent and Summer terms.
With nearly 100 Universities including Russell Group, red brick and modern institutions, as well as a range of apprenticeship providers, major employers and local colleges, the fair also featured a variety of informative seminars including: UCAS Personal Statement & Application Advice, Why take an Apprenticeship, Choosing a University Course, Higher and Degree Apprenticeships and Student Finance.
Appropriately taking place on the same day as the UCAS early application date for Oxbridge and Healthcare courses, there was a real buzz of enthusiasm as many of our Year 12s started to explore opportunities and shape their futures, and we’re excited to be able to support them further on this journey.
