Although our normal Year 7 Bonding Weekend was unable to go ahead as planned, we feel incredibly grateful to have been able to organise an alternative Bonding Walk for our new Year 7 pupils.
The cohort were accompanied by their new Heads of Houses around Forest Farm Nature Reserve, the Glamorganshire Canal, Haley Park and Radyr Weir. As they learned to cope with adversity (it did rain heavily at one point), they also saw a state of the art hydroelectric facility, the site of what was once the biggest tin-plate works in the world, and site of huge importance for our industrial heritage. More importantly, there was lots of conversation material to help everyone get to know each other. A huge thank you also to the Prefects who joined us.
