Adventures at Cardiff Castle

Year 2 had a wonderful time visiting Cardiff Castle as part of their new topic Castles and Knights, Dungeons and Dragons.

The day was packed with excitement as the pupils explored the castle grounds, toured some of its fascinating rooms, and learned all about the history of the Bute family. A highlight of the trip was the engaging Meet the Knight workshop. The pupils discovered what life was like for knights, learned about the journey to knighthood, and even had the chance to try on pieces of real armour. We are immensely proud of the pupils for their exemplary behaviour throughout the trip.
