Aspire To...Entrepreneurship

Aspire To...Entrepreneurship

On Wednesday 20th November, we were delighted to launch this year’s Aspire To... programme. Since launching the careers and networking programme two years ago, we have welcomed over 120 professionals who have inspired more than 400 students with invaluable insights across sectors such as Law, Real Estate, STEM, Finance, the Creative Arts, and Healthcare. The recent event focused on entrepreneurship and we were pleased to welcome 17 speakers from a wide range of fields who shared their journeys and challenges of building businesses with Year 10 to 13 pupils and their parents. Feedback from those who attended has been very positive, with many leaving the event saying they felt inspired.

A huge thank you to the parents, Old Llandavians, and members of the CSL community who generously supported the event - we are incredibly grateful for your contributions to its success. We were particularly pleased to welcome back Ms Jessica Blackler (OL, 2000–2008), founder of Jecca Blac, who shared her journey of building an inclusive beauty brand, as well as Mr James Smith, a highly experienced tech entrepreneur and CSL Governor.

The Aspire To… programme will continue in the new year, focusing on Media, Marketing, and Journalism in February, and Healthcare, Veterinary, and Sport Science in March. If you’d like to get involved, please email Mr Andrew Vaughan via vaughanak@cathedral-school.co.uk
