Being Me In My World

Being Me In My World

Mr Thomas began the new half-term with an engaging Jigsaw assembly focused on Being Me In My World.

He introduced pupils to the thought-provoking topics they will explore, including:

  • How our choices impact others
  • Understanding our rights, responsibilities, rewards and consequences
  • Roles and responsibilities within school and the wider community
  • Reflecting on our opportunities and our role at school, home and in the community
  • Managing worries and anxieties
  • Being determined to succeed

To close, everyone took part in an exit ticket activity, writing down a personal goal or positive choice they want to work towards this academic year. From aiming to show more kindness to trying harder in a particular subject, the activity encouraged pupils to think practically about how they can grow and succeed.

Why not try this activity yourself? Taking a moment to write down one achievable goal can help clarify what matters most to you, provide focus and act as a small but powerful step towards making positive change.
