Best Speaker accolade at ‘Youth Speaks'

This year's Rotary Club 'Youth Speaks' competition got off to an exciting start this week, with ten teams competing for the Intermediate section of the competition.

The two CSL teams were ready for the challenge, and although not outright winners, Evan T won the 'Best Speaker' award, wowing everyone with his speech on 'Nostalgia' and our Year 7 team came second in the team placings ; a fantastic performance considering that they were the youngest in the competition.

Well done to all six competitors: Evan T, Oliver P and Llewellyn MJ from Year 8 and Aoife P, Alice K and Alex R from Year 7.
