Big Issue feature

Last term, pupils in Year 7 and 8 engaged in a creative project to produce peace-themed artwork for The Big Issue. Drawing on their own ideas and interpretations, pupils explored what peace means in today’s world, expressing their reflections through a wide range of imaginative pieces. 

We were delighted that CSL received a special mention in this year’s schools’ edition of The Big Issue, recognising the quality, originality and impact of the pupils’ work. This acknowledgement is a testament not only to their artistic talent, but also to their willingness to engage with important global themes in a meaningful way.
