Two out of three of the Cathedral School teams entered into the Rotary Club ‘Youth Speaks' competition were victorious this week.
On Tuesday, Rosie M (Year 10), Josh X and Ieuan K (both Year 11) took on sixth formers from local schools including Llanishen High School and Howell's School Llandaff with their chosen topic ‘Christmas has become a commercial farce' and secured their place in the Cardiff Zone Final.
And on Thursday, the Year 8's, Emma P, Maebh P and Katy F were equally successful with their topic ‘Rotten Royals'.
As winning teams, they now move onto the Cardiff Zone final which takes place on Tuesday, 15th February at The New House Hotel from 6:30pm. If successful, they will move on to compete in the Welsh final. We wish them good luck!
