Cooking with Chartwells

Pupils in Year 1 and 2 had the opportunity to experience a wonderful hands-on session with Chartwells, our school caterers.
The engaging sessions were led by Emily, one of Chartwells’ nutritionists, with the aim of developing a positive, healthy relationship around food. The sessions included tasting various fruit and vegetables, learning about where food comes from, and separating healthy eating facts from fiction.
The pupils produced their own hungry caterpillar creations and challenged themselves to eat one piece of fruit or a vegetable that they had not tried before!
