We caught up with some of our new leaders to hear their thoughts on what it means to take on these roles and their plans for the year ahead:

Annie: “I want to show responsibility and kindness, be a good role model to younger pupils and inspire them. I hope pupils feel safe and brave enough to ask me for help when they need it.”

Carter: “Being part of Eco Schools means helping the environment and making the world a better place which is very important to me.”

Finley: “I enjoy the social part of being a Play Leader. I also want to make sure people are playing fairly and taking turns.”

Harry: “I want to build House spirit and encourage people to take part in lots of competitions.”

James: “I want to make a positive impact, and inspire people to do well and follow by example.”

Lauren: “I hope that everyone knows diversity and representation are important. Including everyone and instilling lifelong lessons is my goal. I want everyone to feel comfortable.”

Ryan: “Being a prefect is a good role, not too much pressure, but important for encouraging good behaviour. It’s about being a good role model, showing acts of kindness and making sure people are behaving well.”

Sophie: “Being part of School Council helps everyone in the school, making it a better place to learn. Encouraging kindness and making everyone happy is really important.”

These pupils are already showing dedication, enthusiasm and a commitment to making CSL a supportive and inspiring environment. We look forward to seeing everything they achieve this year.
