Marvellous Me and My Family

Our Nursery children have thoroughly enjoyed exploring the theme of Marvellous Me this week, learning more about themselves and the people who are special to them. They used loose parts to create representations of their families and proudly posed for photographs with their creations.

The children also enjoyed talking about their families and expressing their ideas through drawings. 

As part of their mathematical learning, they counted and measured their hands using cubes, developing early measuring skills in a fun and meaningful way. Independent learning activities throughout the week continued the focus on themselves and their families, encouraging confidence and creativity. It has been wonderful to see the children celebrating what makes them unique.
