Olympic Torch Bearer from 1948 visits school

As the 2012 Olympic Torch reaches Cardiff this afternoon, we were delighted to welcome former Wales rugby international, Mr Charles Williams, who was a torch bearer for the 1948 London Games to school this week.
Taking a lap of honour around the walled garden with the torch, Mr Williams, who lives in Cardiff met with pupils and recounted carrying the torch 64 years ago and what a great honour it was for him.
