This week, we hosted our second annual Oxbridge Launch seminar, providing students from Years 10 to 12 insight into the process of applying to the universities of Oxford and Cambridge.
Presenting to an audience of 60 students and their parents, Mr Richards, our Oxbridge and EPQ Coordinator, discussed the importance of choosing Oxbridge universities for the correct reasons, as well as ensuring that students are always aware of their well-being in the preparation for application and attendance.
We were very lucky to be joined by several Old Llandavians who gave illuminating insights into life at Oxbridge. Prakrit Prasad (University of Oxford, Medicine), Sarah Kaneen (University of Cambridge, Engineering), Ollie Rudolf (University of Oxford, Medicine) and Tasie Rees (University of Cambridge, Modern and Medieval Languages) were wonderful in their description of their personal journeys, enthralling and inspiring the audience. The School is very grateful to them for their participation and ongoing support.
