Pop Goes Christmas Concert
This year’s first-ever Pop Goes Christmas concert brought festive cheer to the Drama Studio with an evening full of energy, humour and brilliant music.
Our host, Elsie M, set the tone from the start, arriving in a Christmas-tree costume and armed with a forest’s worth of tree-related puns that kept the audience laughing between performances.
Bands from across the Senior School took to the stage, showcasing an impressive mix of Christmas classics and modern favourites. Well-known hits such as Christmas Wrapping and Merry Xmas Everybody featured alongside contemporary songs, including Underneath the Tree and Snowman, each performed with style and plenty of seasonal spirit. The concert concluded with a lively full-company rendition of Merry Christmas Everyone by Shakin’ Stevens.
