School General Election Triumph for Liberal Democrats

Following the impressive hustings earlier in the week, pupils from Years 5-13 had the opportunity to vote in our school general election yesterday, leading to the School bucking the national trend and resulting in a Liberal Democrats win.

Every candidate highlighted to the School why youth participation in politics is so important.

Congratulations to Clara P and her team for their successful campaign and enorrmous thank you to Mr Hurley for everything he did to support all our candidates.

Thank you also to Joseph B and Fran B for their hard work and organisational skills.

The overall results were:
