Science Success

A huge congratulations to the Junior Science Quiz team for securing third place in the National Science Quiz Final.

Held in the Diamond Light Synchrotron at the Harwell Science Park in Oxfordshire, this is the second year running that the Cathedral School has been represented in the final and we were the only school from Wales this year.

Well done to Ashwin B, Maya W, Shivansh A and Evie T for their effort, confidence and camaraderie.  The team won a beautiful Science Encyclopaedia which they have donated to the Junior Library. After the quiz they met some of the staff from the centre and had a look inside the electron particle accelerator.

Competing against 40,000 pupils from across the UK, this is a great achievement!
