Springtime Jazz hits the RDS
06 May 2016
Congratulations to musician performers and the Sixth Form ‘Interact’ team on a fantastic evening of live jazz and swing this week. An audience of around 70 relaxed in a ‘Jazz Café’ styled RDS, treated to highly polished and professionally delivered contributions from our 25-piece Jazz (Swing) Band, Year 9 Jazz Quartet, the Olly J Jazz Combo, and soloists – Ben L, Daniel W, Charlie H, and Mr Atkinson. Audience appreciation and pupil enjoyment was in great abundance. Many thanks to everyone who supported the event and we look forward already to Springtime Swing 2017!
