Tell Me a Dragon

As part of their topic work, Year 2 pupils have loved reading the beautifully illustrated book Tell Me a Dragon.

Captivated by its detailed pictures, they used them as inspiration for their own creative writing. In English lessons, pupils experimented with different sentence structures and vivid adjectives to bring their dragons to life. Their creativity continued in art, where they explored watercolour techniques to paint dragons, inspired by the book’s stunning illustrations.
