Visit to the new Memorial Hall site

This week some of the Infant children were taken to have a closer look at the Memorial Hall building work. They met project manager Mr Dave Smith and watched the concrete pour.

The children asked many questions and were very interested in the detail of what was happening on site. They learnt that although the concrete would be solid in 24 hours it will never actually dry our completely! They were also able to see from the foundations where each room would be in the Memorial Hall, and get an idea of the size and layout of the space. It was a really fascinating visit and the children reported back wonderfully to the rest of their classes.

Another visit has been origanised later this month for a further update with another group of Mini Reporters!
