Year 3 going 'Round the Houses'
09 March 2018
On Tuesday, Year 3 had the opportunity to experience life as a Celt for themselves as they went back in time to visit the round house at St Fagans.
The children were enthralled at hearing how life was lived and enjoyed handling artefacts including a sword, shield and spear head as well as Celtic toys and wool which they had a go at spinning.
They experienced what it was like to live in the dark but warm round house and came out smelling like the fire we had stood around! They had a great morning out and were a credit to our school. Well done, Year 3.
