44 to Beat Returns for Another Year of House Competition

We are thrilled to announce the return of our popular House competition, 44 to Beat, back for its second year following a hugely successful debut. Last year saw Jerry C from Euddogwy take the winning title, and we can’t wait to see who will champion their House this time around!

The House competition will run on a weekly basis starting next week and continuing through to the Lent term, with challenges taking place every Tuesday during form period.

The concept is simple, fun, and unpredictable, with one main rule: DON’T COME LAST. The competition starts with 45 participants; 15 new representatives from each of our three Houses, spanning Years 7 through 13 plus a wildcard entry. Each week, competitors will face secret, fast-paced challenges testing physical ability, estimation, general knowledge, and practical skills.

After each round, the lowest-performing participant (or group during team events) will be eliminated until only one student is left standing to claim victory for their House.
